The National Crime Prevention Council's definition of cyber-bullying is:
"When the Internet, cell phones or other devices are used to send or post text or images intended to hurt or embarrass another person." Other researchers use similar language to describe the phenomenon.
Cyber-bullying can be as simple as continuing to send e-mail to someone who has said they want no further contact with the sender, but it may also include threats, sexual remarks, pejorative labels (i.e., hate speech), ganging up on victims by making them the subject of ridicule in forums, and posting false statements as fact aimed at humiliation.
Cyber-bullies may disclose victims' personal data (e.g. real name, address, or workplace/schools) at websites or forums or may pose as the identity of a victim for the purpose of publishing material in their name that defames or ridicules them. Some cyberbullies may also send threatening and harassing emails and instant messages to the victims, while other post rumors or gossip and instigate others to dislike and gang up on the target.

It doesn't matter how much a certain being annoys you Online, it doesn't matter if it's "spamming" or trying to make friends in ways you don't preceive as "nice" - Nothing makes it right for you to act to that certain being in a way that may put him/her in embarresing, humiliating or even dangerouse situations. Nothing.
If you find a certain someone annoying for your own reasons, you can ignore them, block them, talk to them and ask them to stop, kindly. Find different ways to stop that from happening. Bullying is not an option. Why? Because you're not being any better, if not worse.
This is a childish, pathetic, idiotic, repulsive behaviour. Why won't you be the "bigger man" and act like a grown up and not like a complete retard hiding behind a computer screen, using it in your "defense"?
No one I talked to about this issue made even one single reasonable and logical argument on why a person deserves the behaviour seen in the last few days at the Shout Box. For fuck sake, the "He/She started it (by spamming the shoutbox and trying to make friends in ways I don't appreciate)" argument is getting old and suits 6 years old, not people over 18 and even 21 years. Have you people seriously lost your mind from atrophying your brains in front of the computer, and Shout Box, all day long?
Sure, I've made fun of people in the Shout Box from time to time, but have I ever taken it this far? To a point it's going on for days, if not months? Will you people just let it go already?
Nothing makes a person worthy of cyber bullying, further more if they had done nothing wrong to you, personally. In fact, the contrary.
Nothing.
And do trust me, I'd say this for anyone. Even if you were being bullied.
