Theological Nexus

An oblivious symphony decayed our thoughts
Erupted decadence of our once intelligent minds

Worlds are colliding, and theorems contradicting
All that which once made sense in older days

We shed sloughs of what used to be our humanity
To run wild in the playground of mankind

And to play Hide & Seek with a kind of sanity
Which seldom reveals itself in its true form

Reality has become a greater drug and commodity
So why did we bother at all in creating a god?

It is then when truth reaches aphelion
Eyes contract in the bright light and in dismay

Crumbled society has reached its verdict
It is time; we have started to p(r)ay
